Description

Psychology is exploring what allows people to thrive, and gratitude always shows up. What does gratitude do for our mental, emtional and spiritual wellness?  In this episode, we explore the interconnectedness of gratitude on our overall wellness and how to naturally nurture more of it in our daily life.

Today’s guest, Loreli is the director of a young parents program in Toronto that serves pregnant and parenting youth, and the topic of gratefulness has grabbed her heart.  She leads gratitude experiments with people who want to learn and explore how gratitude helps us flourish.

Tune in for ways to heal grief, loss, bitterness, burnout and compassion fatigue and use the practice of giving thanks to move toward what a healthier, happier you. We talk about ways to embrace gratitude, cultivate joy, and tangibly feel and show appreciation.  Learn how to connect mentally and spiritually to the practice of gratitude and cultivating joy and see how it transforms your heart.

Sarah asks Loreli:

  1. How would you define gratitude or gratefulness and what intrigued you about it to have you explore and experiment with it so intentionally?

  2. In what ways do you think gratitude impacts holistic wellbeing?

  3. How, specifically, do you incorporate gratitude practices in your daily life and why might you encourage someone to make gratitude a central spiritual practice?

  4. What helps keep you well in this season?
